I hope everyone is coming into this fall with a renewed sense of hope as we all try to navigate our way out of the last 20 months. No matter what your circumstances are, this pandemic has been emotionally exhausting on all of us. Rachele made her debut with Virginia Opera this season and praised universally for her portrayal of Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, with the Richmond Times exclaiming she “delivered the performance of the season” in one of her signature roles.
Rachele added another one of Verdi's ingenues to her repertoire this winter, taking on the magical role of Nanetta in Falstaff with Opera Omaha. The Omaha World Herald praised her performance, writing she “was enchanting as the ingénue Nannetta.”
Performers and teachers have been trying to put vocal technique into words for centuries.
